We’re hiring talented therapists to join our team.
Wicker Park Therapy Group is a psychodynamic group practice located in the vibrant Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. We believe in a personalized, client-focused style of therapy that emphasizes curiosity, empathy, and psychological depth.
Our approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, the essence of which is exploring those aspects of self that are not fully known. We work to understand and help clients with intrapersonal (psychic) and interpersonal (relational) conflicts. We engage each client in a collaborative therapeutic relationship to expand potential for creativity in love and work.
We aspire to provide lasting relief to clients dealing with relational trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, addiction, and characterological issues. We often recommend seeing clients frequently to foster a strong alliance and effective working relationship.
Our team is committed to continual ongoing professional development, supervision and consultation to ensure we provide the highest quality care. We provide immersive training and supervision that helps you develop specific psychoanalytic competencies. Our supportive, professional environment encourages you to refine your understanding of theory, therapeutic action, and ethics. Working with us can create opportunities for professional growth and transformative client outcomes. We believe in a lifelong process of personal and professional development and invite you to attend continuing education with us outside of our organization.
